Bring Smart Video in your Classroom

With the way that technology has affected our everyday lives, it’s no surprise that students are more interested in educational video content than ever before. That is why we designed the Learning Engine to integrate with your existing learning management system (LMS) so you don’t have to learn a brand-new tool. The Learning Engine integrates easily into any LTI-Enabled LMS, including CanvasSchoology, and BlackBoard. It even works with your existing Google account, allowing for easy synchronization to Google Drive and YouTube.

Getting started is easy – just head over to free.catturavideo.com and follow the instructions. It will ask you to sign up with your Google or Vimeo account depending on what you plan on using. The tool will authorize your account through their secure servers and bring you back. Next, it will ask for your name, your web address, and what you’re going to use it for.

Once that’s done, you’re ready to install it! The page will display your ID, a Secret ID, and a URL. Installation methods vary between systems, but is streamlined to be fairly easy. Visit our support pages here and look up your LMS. If you have any trouble getting set up, email us and let us know.

Once you have it installed, you will be able to upload video from YouTubeVimeo, or Google Drive. Then, you can upload chapters, tag videos for easy search, edit in time-stamped notes, and even automatically caption your content.

The Learning Engine is a very powerful tool, and the ability to deliver content to your students the way they want to be reached is more important than ever. Thanks to CaptureCast Chrome and the Learning Engine, you’ll be creating content with the best of them in no time! For more information on the Learning Engine, click here!
