The Media Services team at Carnegie Mellon University is rolling out a powerful lecture capture solution for their faculty and students.
By using Cattura hardware for classroom capture and Kaltura software for media management, CMU is recording and distributing high-quality video content from lectures and events, all without relying on a videographer.
This is made possible by the seamless integration of Cattura’s recording technology and Kaltura’s content management system. The Cattura CaptureCast Pro records and encodes video footage simultaneously so that the files are uploaded into the Kaltura CMS by the time a lecture finishes.
How does it actually look? Listen to a member of the Carnegie Mellon Media Services team walk through their powerful and cost-effective new classroom video solution.
